A new study also found that 2-to-5-year-olds are also more likely to be able to open a Web browser than swim on their own. Mobilized thinks it is time to make cellphones waterproof so these kids can text for help if they ever fall out of a boat. Via allthingsd.com

Leap Day Celebration
Hello fellow tumblr teachers! I am looking for fun activities to celebrate the leap year with my group of kids I hang out with at my afterschool program.
The program has muliti-level students ( four kinders, three 2nd, two third, two 4th and one 6th grader) I want everyone to feel challenged and excited. :-) (sometimes my older students get frustrated with the little ones “slowing them down”)
