Hello fellow tumblr teachers! I am looking for fun activities to celebrate the leap year with my group of kids I hang out with at my afterschool program.

The program has muliti-level students ( four kinders, three 2nd, two third, two 4th and one 6th grader) I want everyone to feel challenged and excited. :-) (sometimes my older students get frustrated with the little ones “slowing them down”)

So far I was thinking snack related to ‘once in a blue moon’ and games with lots of leaping and frogs.

Do you have any great ideas for my celebration? I was trying to think about things that are rare as well as things like frogs.

I would love any ideas you could give me! :-)
